Don Rowe, VP of Sales at Millard Lumber, Inducted Into MOBA’s Hall of Fame

Don Rowe, VP of Sales at Millard Lumber, was inducted into MOBA’s (Metro Omaha Builders Association) Hall of Fame after an illustrious career in the lumber and building supply industry.
 
Don started in the lumber business at Hoppe Lumber in Lincoln, NE in 1977. Millard Lumber acquired Hoppe in 1987 where Don worked in Contractor Sales until 1991. He left Millard at that time and started his own kitchen business, Crowl’s Kitchens in Lincoln. At that time, he was very active in HBAL (Home Builders Association of Lincoln) and served as President in 1993-94 and he became a NAHB (National Association of Home Builders) Life Spike.
 
Millard Lumber knew a great guy when they had one and acquired Crowl’s Kitchens and Don in 1996. He has been at Millard Lumber now for 27 years! Don has been very active in MOBA (Metro Omaha Builders Association):
• Served on the MOBA Board of Directors for 16 years
• MOBA Associate of the Year 2006
• Past Chairman of MOBA Associate Council
• Served on the NSHBA (Nebraska State Home Builders Association) Board of Directors, Secretary and Government Affairs Trustee
 
In December 2020, Don announced his campaign for Omaha City Council. He was later elected in May 2021 to a four-year term for District 5. Congratulations on this fantastic accomplishment, Don!
