Founded in 1948 by George F. Russell and Raymond Watson, Millard Lumber initially catered to Millard, NE, a small rural community of under 400 people. Today under the leadership of George’s son, Rick Russell (President & CEO) and Rick’s sons, Joel Russell (VP & COO) and Mark Russell (Market Development Manager) Millard Lumber has continued to grow. It has now expanded its customer bases in Omaha, NE; Lincoln/Waverly, NE and Lenexa, KS by providing quality building materials and personalized services that set it apart from the competition.
Throughout the year we will be planning special events to commemorate this momentous occasion. We will also be sharing some more history and photos from Millard Lumber’s past. Congratulations to all employees for making Millard Lumber a success for 75 years. We look forward to the future and more successes it will bring!
