We've gone green.  Have you?

At Millard Lumber, any talk of the green movement being just a fad is puzzling.  After all, taking care of the environment should be a responsibility for everyone, and Millard Lumber takes this responsibility seriously.  This is why we are rolling out a new initiative called Your Shade of Green®, which will help contractors and customers make better decisions when it comes to building green.

Recycling fly ash also lessens the demand for virgin materials that would require quarrying, and substitutes for materials that may be energy-intensive to create, such as Portland cement.

Metalwork Steel Shingles - Tamko's "Cool" metal roofs reflects the sun's energy and quickly gives off any heat that is does absorb.

Safe & Sound Doors - Masonite's Safe & Sound solid core molded doors use rapidly renewable content (wheat - straw) and have low VOC emissions.
